This is my nth WordPress blog, sorry I lost count–kidding! The story behind the new and hopefully last blog account before I move in to my dream space is really simple: one day I just thought that I’ve already outgrown the old theme of my previous blogs; though, the smitten soul will always be my first love and will always hold a special place in my heart.;) Anyway, I was just thinking ahead and thought that since I’m in a new world now and adjusting to that new environment, my blog can use some adjustments, too; thus, I dropped the too-personal-dramatic title and toned down the new one. This blog has all my blog entries both from my formal and personal blog. I figured that it is easier to manage if I have a centralized account. I will be posting new entries too of course.
“Over a Piece of Cake” is something I thought of a long time ago when I was still in high school and was one of the staffer for our school newspaper. I forgotten about it eventually until the recent necessity for a new blog theme arose. Let me tell you a bit about it. Again, it’s also really simple: for me, pleasant conversations start and are maintained over something nice and something enjoyable. Some people prefer talking over their breakfast, over lunch, over a cup of hot choco. For me, yes you got it right, I prefer chitchats while taking in sweets and cake is definitely a favorite. It’s just like the way my friends and I used to hang out a lot in coffee shops especially during meetings and brainstorming. I don’t order a cup of coffee because I get intoxicated, seriously; so, I usually go for the sweeter menu.
I love and really enjoyed hanging out in my old blog accounts and coming up with this new one is an added delight for me; it is the icing on top of my cake. So, is life really a piece of cake? I say it is. I’m not saying life is easy. I say life is a piece of cake because you just have to enjoy every bite and make the most out of it. Life is sweet and the people around you, the success and blessings in life we get are our personal ingredients in living this life.
